Our Policies

Obtaining Medication Refills

For routine medication refills, please call the office at 215-504-5253. If you are out of refills on your prescription, you must call the office for a new prescription to be sent to the pharmacy. Calling the office yourself ensures that we are sending out the correct medication and helps avoids any miscommunication with the pharmacy. Please be advised that controlled medications (i.e., anti-anxiety and ADD/ADHD medications) will not be filled after hours or on weekends. We ask that patients check their medication quantities often to give sufficient notice to the office if a refill is needed.

Referrals

All referrals must be requested 48 hours prior to your appointment with the specialist. When calling for a referral, please have the following information:

  • Name of specialist/facility

  • NPI # of specialist/facility

  • Location of specialist/facility

  • Date of scheduled appointment

After Hour Calls

We know that not all medical issues happen during normal business hours so there is always a doctor on-call ready to help you should an urgent medical issue arise. The on-call doctor can be reached by calling our office and following the prompts. Please note that after hour calls may be subject to a fee.
